Trouble is this season there are very few teams worse than us (we are currently the worst), something which has helped us a lot in the past.
Everyone down the bottom seems pretty organised, playing for their managers, showing passion, energy and fight. We are lacking just about everywhere at the moment.

Only twice in our entire history have we finished in the top half for 3 seasons running.

1981-84 &
1998-2000.

That is pretty shocking and shows how we have never managed to become a regular top half side.

Does any club outside the usual suspects set targets, or do they just play as best they can, put in 100% effort in every game and hope results follow, knowing that if they get relegated their players conscience is clear and their supporters can be proud ?
